Dermaplaning

Reveal skin that’s smooth skin with a Dermaplaning exfoliation treatment. It gently exfoliates dull skin cells and vellus hair, also called peach fuzz, from your face resulting in a revitalized appearance. We’ll use a scalpel or Dermablade to gently buff off facial hair and a buildup of skin cells that give your skin an uneven complexion. Dermaplaning removes up to one month worth of dull skin cells that can only be seen through a microscope. It can also be a perfect option to use with other Facial or Chemical Peel treatments because it results in optimal absorption of our medical-grade products. You’ll get softer skin with a luminous appearance on the same day of your treatment.

At Evolution Health and Wellness, we’ll perform an in-depth assessment to determine if you’re a candidate for this procedure. A scalpel is used on the targeted region during the procedure to gently buff off all dull cells and vellus hairs. The treatment takes 15-30 minutes and results in healthier, vibrant skin. Before the treatment, we’ll cleanse and dry your skin. You’ll sit and relax as we buff off the skin’s surface to stimulate cell production. You’ll notice the improvements as you seamlessly put on makeup and get deeper absorption from serums. Once your skin is completely treated, we’ll coat the treated area with a nourishing moisturizer to seal in hydration. You may schedule maintenance treatments once your peach fuzz grows on the treated area and when your skin could use exfoliating.
